As a new mom to Hunter, Kim discovered several challenges in finding balance, staying fit, providing healthy meals for herself and her family, and finding time for rest and restoration. It was during this time she realized (in order to be the best for her family) she needed to take steps to be the best version of herself. Exercise and healthy eating became a priority and not an option. She quickly realized that her family modeled her behavior and that continued to fuel her motivation and efforts.

I have truly enjoyed my experience with coach Kim at Forever Fit. I like to workout in the gym with others so I am not a fan of working out alone or from home; however, my experience with Coach Kim has been a real treat and she motivates me to want to continue my workouts even if I'm doing so alone. The virtual workouts offered by Forever Fit were fun and they really pushed me! In this group zoom session, Kim customized every aspect and there was no cheating even though I tried. As my 40th birthday approached, I began to reflect on my health and well-being more and I knew that I wanted and needed to start exercising again after years of putting it off. I quickly realized that I did not quite know where to start or what to do, so I began looking for a local trainer to help and found Kim Brown. After an initial consult, I began working out with her twice a week.
I had never worked with a trainer before and did not have any set expectations other than that I wanted to tone my “mom body” and I needed to have someone holding me accountable to do it and do it right. Well, Kim has set the bar high for me! She adjusted one-on-one workouts to my specific abilities, monitored my form, was always ready on time, was flexible, had great communication, created challenging but appropriate sessions, and was motivating. She helped ease my way into strength training and before I knew it, I was looking and feeling the best I had since high school. It was so much more enjoyable than I had ever imagined. It was like spending an hour with a friend, we chat and laugh and the whole time got in a great workout. It was definitely hard at first, but was worth it in the long run and if she hadn’t moved I’d still be working out with her today!
