What’s your fitness specialty?
I empower women ages 30-40+ to achieve weight loss by helping them create a blueprint for a sustainable healthy lifestyle. This is accomplished through customized workouts, nutrition support and accountability. I believe strength training is the cornerstone of any successful program so we will be lifting weights :)
What qualifications do you have?
I became a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in 2017. I am also TRX Suspension Trainer certified and continue to pursue ongoing continuing education credits to keep my education and skills up to date. I have also been formally coached in some capacity for the last 20 years, so I have gained so much knowledge through those experiences. This has given me an indepth list of best practices as well as pitfalls to avoid.
How do you assess clients?
Whether in person or virtual all clients begin with a baseline assessment which includes essential movements of a strength training program and endurance capabilities. Measurements, weight, and photos are also used as assessment tools.
How do you track fitness goals?
Together we will establish SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic) that work for you. Accountability is the key to accomplishing any goal so we will have an established schedule for check-ins and touchpoints.
Do you offer meal plans?
Nutrition guidance is included as a part of every program Forever Fit by Kim offers. If you have specific concerns/ allergies a professional nutritionist will be recommended.
